ASI is actively seeking a Procurement Policy Analyst to support Disadvantaged Business Outreach. JOB DESCRIPTION: Have you helped a federal customer build a Disadvantaged Business Program from scratch? Our team is looking for Procurement Analysts who have experience in procurement policy and/or working experience with Small Business Programs. Work location will be Chantilly, VA with willingness to travel to attend conferences and speaking engagements CONUS. Specialized Experience: • Reviewing proposed acquisitions to determine maximum practicable opportunities were provided to small business, to include all socio-economic categories.
• Providing training to personnel on various aspects of small business contracting policies and regulations.
• Reviewing acquisition projects for possible breakout of items suitable for the authorized small business set-aside program. • Create briefings and perform outreach, engagement, and training to attendees at internal and external events.
• Maintains an outreach program from a local and national area. Communicates with Intelligence Community and Department of Defense's small business office in order to document best practices and baseline documents. Qualifications: • Must have existing clearance (TS/SCI) or be eligible for clearance. We have a passion for public service.
