Our National Security Team supports the intelligence community by providing, operating, and assuring critical voice, video and collaboration services for the full spectrum of operations. AT&T has an opening for a Project Manager to support the National Security Sector. Description of Job Duties/Responsibilities: Planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing of projects on time within budget and scope.
Overseeing all aspects of projects including managing deadlines, assigning tasks, and monitoring and summarizing progress of project. Working directly with teams, including engineering and operations, as well as with the customer to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget.
Coordinating with other departments to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible.
Collaborating across service areas to ensure coordination of efforts that may impact assigned projects.
Coordinating assignments of internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
Developing detailed project plans and monitoring and tracking project progress.
Measuring project performance using established tools, techniques and standard project management best practices.
Preparing project status reports for upper management.
Managing relationships with the client and all project stakeholders.
Performing risk management measures to minimize project risks.
Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation.
Coordinating with customers and internal resources for Technical Exchange Meetings geared toward requirement's definition of the project.
Collecting and maintaining required documentation repository related to each project assigned.
Using leadership and negotiation skills for task completion.
Developing spreadsheets, diagrams, and process maps.
Performing other related duties as assigned. Required Clearance: TS/SCI with polygraph. (/sci) () Required Qualifications: Candidate must have 10 years of experience that can be a combination of work history and education. This equates to a Doctorate and 3 years, master's and 4 years, bachelor's and 6 years, associates and 8 years or HS diploma and 10 years. Desired Qualifications: Intermediate knowledge of Network IT infrastructure (network connectivity, switches, routers).
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
