Arcfield provides systems engineering, integration, and digital transformation across space, air, land, sea, and cyber domains. This position is for a Systems Engineering and Technical Advisor (SETA) within our Space and Mission Engineering sector. Your responsibilities are to: Work as Systems Engineer and Technical Advisor (SETA) to the Government
Coordinate regularly with development contractors to manage and resolve technical and programmatic deficiencies, ensuring government stakeholders are satisfied with contractor performance
Provide Systems Engineering support to a processing acquisition for multiple important space assets
Utilize organizational and communication skills to clearly and concisely present information, ensuring the government and all stakeholders are kept informed on system status
Actively participate in enterprise test forums and maintain engagement on test planning and execution activities
Support developer team through factory and enterprise-level testing events, ensuring developers sell off requirements, acting as witness to factory and site acceptance tests, and validating developers satisfy mission needs
Assess impacts from Requests for Change (RFCs) across a major GEOINT processing acquisition
Qualifications Required: BS 8-10, MS 6-8, PhD 3-5
Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI with Poly
Thorough understanding of Full Spectrum GEOINT products and GEOINT radar processing concepts
Thorough understanding of test procedures and processes, including factory and enterprise-level testing
Ability to assess and mitigate mission impacts from changes to test responsibilities or scope
Ability to decompose enterprise test objectives into component parts and ensure developers are equipped to support Strong representational, oral, and written communications skills, including the ability to produce clear, logical, and concise products
Proven organization and interpersonal skills, and demonstrated ability to interface effectively via written and verbal forums with personnel at all levels of government
Desired: Experience with commercial Atlassian tools (e.g. Confluence, JIRA) or ability to learn quickly
Experience with the acquisition and maintenance of software development contracts or SETA experience Experience with Requests for Change (RFCs) Knowledge of SAFe or Agile frameworks
Experience with Systems Engineering requirements, architectures, and verification/validation (V&V) Understanding of programmatic processes, including Risk, Readiness, Budgets, and Schedules
