Job Title: Senior Account Director - IT Services Sales (Life Sciences, Healthcare, and Pharma)

Location: Morris Plains , NJ

Job Overview: Ampcus is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Account Director with a strong background in IT services sales, specifically within the Life Sciences, Healthcare, and Pharma sectors. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of generating incremental revenue, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and driving new business within these specialized domains. This role requires a strategic thinker with the ability to effectively communicate Ampcus' value propositions, deliver on sales targets, and navigate complex client environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Revenue Generation: Lead efforts to increase revenue from existing clients and secure new business within the Life Sciences, Healthcare, and Pharma sectors. Consistently meet or exceed annual sales goals, targeting an average quarterly growth of 10-15%.

Client Engagement & Relationship Building: Interface directly with clients/prospects, developing a deep understanding of their unique challenges, culture, and organizational structure to tailor solutions that meet their specific needs and drive growth initiatives.

Sales Strategy Implementation: Actively prospect and generate leads within assigned territories/accounts, aligning with Ampcus' overall sales strategy. Develop and present Ampcus' capabilities to client executives and key decision-makers, showcasing our IT services and domain expertise. Aim to secure at least 5-7 client engagements annually.

Proposal Management: Coordinate with the proposal team on RFP opportunities, ensuring timely, targeted, and competitive responses that position Ampcus for success. Strive for a proposal win rate of 30% or higher.

Market Research & Networking: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and client needs within the Life Sciences, Healthcare, and Pharma industries. Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote Ampcus' services and expand business opportunities. Generate a minimum of 20 qualified leads per quarter from these activities.

Sales Tracking & Management Liaison: Utilize established reporting mechanisms to monitor and report on sales activities, ensuring transparency and accountability. Regularly communicate with designated management, providing updates on results, status, and new opportunities.

Service Knowledge & Communication: Maintain a deep understanding of Ampcus' service offerings, effectively communicating the value propositions and differentiators to clients. Effectively draft and deliver communication to clients, conveying messages that support business development and client satisfaction.

Quarterly Business Reviews & Support: Participate in Quarterly Business Reviews, whether face-to-face or via teleconference, to maintain alignment with client goals and expectations. Support the candidate interview process as needed, ensuring that client requirements are met and exceeded.

Integrity & Compliance: Uphold the highest standards of honesty and integrity, adhering to company policies and procedures at all times.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in IT services sales, specifically within Life Sciences, Healthcare, and Pharma sectors.

Strong understanding of industry-specific challenges and opportunities.

Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans that align with client needs and company goals.

Experience in managing complex client environments and navigating organizational hierarchies.

Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Ability to conduct thorough market research and apply insights to drive business growth.

Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.

Other critical info for this role:

• Hybrid work schedule - 3 days in office (Tue, Wed, Thursday)

• Years of experience 7-10yrs

• IT Staffing or SoW based Services selling is a must (not looking for SAAS or It product Sales resources)

• Pharma , Lifesciences or Healthcare Industry experience is necessary for this role
