Job Description Seize your opportunity to make a personal impact as a Senior Communications Specialist supporting Insider Threat and Counter-Intelligence activities. In this position you will develop and implement comprehensive communications and strategies that support and advance the customer's program mission and vision. The communications specialist will support the contract as a technical writer / editor to establish, implement, and review policy and procedures for coordinating efforts within the program. Additional support to the establishment, implementation or evaluation of standard operations procedure (SOPs) consistent with laws, policies, and regulations related to collection, retention, and dissemination of program information. This position's candidate should also demonstrate knowledge of Executive Orders 13587, National Policy, Minimum Standards, relevant policies and protections for employees' civil liberties, civil rights, and privacy. They will be responsible for maintaining the program website via SharePoint access and web presence across network enterprise. Responsible for oversight of written communication efforts such as annual and monthly reports, event presentations, script editing, media posts and other organizational statements as needed. Proficient in Microsoft products such as PowerPoint, excel, and word. Knowledge of the Agile process. How A Senior Communications Specialist Will Make An Impact: Researches, prepares, and edits technical documents
Reviews and edits material for punctuation, grammar, and content
Identifies and modifies contextual errors, reorganizes content, and edits graphics, tables, and illustrations
Develops the process for crafting and refining ideas, cultivating sources, and developing highly articulate products
Collaborates closely with technical teams to deliver appropriate and complex content What You'll Need To Succeed: Education: Requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Required Experience: 5+ years of related experience
Required Technical Skills: Strong writing and comprehension skills, mastery of Microsoft Office suite, experience working with senior executives and multi-disciplined teams, experience with contract management support
Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI w/ CI Poly
Required Skills and Abilities: Works independently under limited supervision
Preferred Skills: Creative / innovative thinking, oral presentation skills, basic understanding of insider threat and counterintelligence fundamentals, experience operating in an agile project management framework, experience with strategic communications, exposure to Camtasia software

This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
