HOW A SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR SR ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Manages the organization's computer systems' workflows and is responsible for the upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, including fixing network issues along with updating equipment and software
Provides technical support in the management of networks, software, hardware, configurations, and architectures
Troubleshoots moderately complex system hardware and software issues
Trains end users on the proper use of hardware and software
Performs software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages
Monitors and tunes systems to achieve optimum performance levels
Ensures workstation/server data integrity by implementing standard software and hardware solutions
Evaluates existing systems and assists with planning long-term strategies
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education: DoD IAT Level II Certification and a B.S. in Network Administration, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or other IT related discipline. Additional years of related experience may be substituted for a 4-year degree.
Required Experience: 8+ years of related experience
Required Technical Skills: Experience with Windows Server and Workstation administration, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange / Outlook / Office / O365, VMware, comfortable working in a multi-vendor network with a large array of COTS applications, experience maintaining file / print / application servers
Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI w/ CI Polygraph
Required Skills and Abilities: Ability to work independently under limited supervision
Preferred Skills: Experience with monitoring SIEM solutions, enterprise storage solutions, patching and backup technologies, AWS and/or Azure cloud environments
Location: On Customer Site in Chantilly, VA

The likely salary range for this position is $116,979 - $142,802. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
