Job Title: Specialist Software Engineer Full-Stack Application Job Code: 12415 Job Location: Chantilly, VA, or Colorado Springs,CO Job Description: L3Harris Technologies is looking for self-starting, team-oriented Full-Stack Application Software Engineers, to join a dynamic, multidisciplinary team working on large-scale enterprise application systems for Space Domain purposes using web technologies, distributed computation, as well as sophisticated, cloud technologies, frameworks, and cutting-edge domain analytics. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be part of software development and integration team focused on mission-unique software to be developed and integrated with existing and new cutting-edge capabilities. Essential Functions: The Software engineer will perform the development and integration via industry best practices, including Agile methodologies for the government system.
The Software Engineer will provide mission application and framework development support.
The Software Engineer participates in a development team that uses modern DevSecOps software practices and a technology-supported development infrastructure.
The Senior Software Engineer will help maintain and develop new capabilities to the deployed system, diagnose and resolve issues, and provide support to end-users as needed.
The ideal candidate will have the technical talent and desire to continuously learn new skills and technologies.
Utilize Agile Software Development Processes and Methodologies (SAFe, Scrum, or Kanban) Qualifications: TS/SCI with consent to CI Poly
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
Experience with Java, JEE object oriented programming
Experience with the JavaScript Vue.js framework
Experience with Microservices
Agile Software Development Process and Methodologies (SaFe, Scrum, or Kanban) Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Spring Boot framework
Experience with C++ and/or Python programming languages
Experience with PostgreSQL or similar Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) Experience with containerization technologies: Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift
Experience with cloud technologies such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or GovCloud
Experience with Front-End web development, TypeScript, CSS, SCSS, or HTML
Experience with unit testing
Experience with integration and development tools, including AWS, Docker, Bitbucket, and Jenkins
Knowledge of REST APIs In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado and New York State is $78,000 - $145,00 and Virginia area is $90,000 - $167,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
