Title:
Sr. HR Specialist KBR is seeking a Sr. Human Resource Specialist to join our team in Chantilly, VA. You will support the Front Office Management personnel and Director Offices by being a liaison to government clients and internal partners. We are seeking a self-motivated individual who demonstrates expertise in working with senior leaders, pay strict attention to details, forward thinking, the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, flexible, and solution oriented. You have a thorough knowledge and understanding of Civilian and military HR functions including but not limited to evaluations, awards, personnel actions, strength reporting and accountability. While your duties may fluctuate daily, you will primarily be responsible for: Managing external hiring activities and actions associated with assigned Directorate and Office accounts
Generating and preparing common human resources forms, to include but not limited to: evaluations, awards, and requests for personnel actions
Managing communications between applicants, internal partners, and external service providers and others to all parties apprised of candidate statuses
Performing activities, to include but not limited to, typing, filing, routine procedural processing, maintaining records, coordinating and staffing documents, and other non-specialized tasks
Providing reoccurring reporting leveraging databases and tracker
Engaging and coordinating with internal partners to build or refine business processes associated with external hiring actions Required Qualifications Active TS/SCI with a CI Polygraph
5+ years' experience in Human Resources and/or related professional discipline
Bachelor's Degree in a Business/Administration area including Human Resources or related professional studies
Excellent oral and writing communication and representational skills
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively both in groups as well as independently
Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, and databases including applicant tracking systems
Strong ability to translate highly technical content into thoughtful, compelling, and effective communication products in support of client
Strong ability to apply strategic thinking, attention to detail and situational awareness towards communication products and deliverables
Project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders
Goal-oriented, strategic thinker who is also willing to roll up their sleeves and execute tactics Desired Qualifications Additional experience and/or certifications will be considered with preferred education for a total experience and education
Experience in HR policies and procedures, with an understanding of HR best practices, current regulations, and compliance
Additional experience in staffing processes and tools for relevancy
