Position: Systems Engineer (SE)
Location: On-Site in Chantilly, VA
Clearance: Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph required We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer (SE) to join our full-time team in Chantilly, VA. In this role, you will support government customers by providing high-level experimental prototyping of system-to-user analytical processes. You will guide and support customers through all aspects of the systems life cycle, from CONOPS development and requirements capture to capability delivery, testing, and transition to operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in intelligence analytics and systems integration, along with experience in data science techniques and programming languages. Key Responsibilities: • Perform end-to-end systems integration prototyping, ensuring seamless integration of complex mission systems and IT infrastructure. • Implement data automation processes to enhance system efficiencies and operations. • Serve as a Systems Engineering Technical Advisor (SETA) and provide systems engineering services to support mission-critical systems. • Collaborate with team leads, program managers, and acquisition professionals to validate acquisition strategies and ensure they support technically feasible outcomes. • Integrate new systems and initiatives based on user operational requirements and ensure they meet customer needs. • Act as a System Integrator, understanding system-to-system interfaces and providing critical support to ensure operational success. • Assist in the preparation of presentations and reports to communicate system status, capabilities, risks, and opportunities to leadership. • Monitor system schedules, recognize dependencies, and ensure on-time delivery of system capabilities. • Proactively identify risks and opportunities throughout the systems integration process, recommending solutions as needed. Qualifications: • Education: 10 to 12 years of experience with a BS/BA degree, or 8 to 10 years of experience with an MS/MA degree • Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph required. • Experience: Extensive Intelligence Analytic experience. Proven experience as a System Engineer or System Integrator. Strong knowledge of data automation analytics. Experience with data science techniques and programming languages (e.g., Python, SQL, R, JavaScript). Familiarity with Collection Management and Multi-INT Systems. Extensive experience working with NRO Enterprise software applications. Technical Skills: • Proficiency with JEMA and other Intelligence Community (IC) analytic tools, such as: FADE MIST, bodhi, chatsurfer, Sentient, Clairvoyant, Mission Presenter. • Experience with Data Science technologies, including: Python, SQL, R, JavaScript, HTML, XML, JSON, KML. Jupyter Notebook, Analyst Notebook, APIs. Geospatial Tools: Geoserver, ArcGIS Feature Services, WMS, WFS.
