Job description

Responsibilities:
Peraton is seeking a dedicated Training Manager who will be responsible for developing and maintaining a robust training curriculum, assisting in presenting the crafted training program, and evaluating how well new hires have digested the training. The Training Manager will be responsible for the following:

Managing the overall training program

Ensuring new entry-level program performers are provided with the initial training needed to rapidly integrate into the customer 's mission space

Working with fellow Program Management Office (PMO) members, and various customer stakeholders to identify program development needs

Working with PMO staffing to schedule onboard training for newly hired performers

Assisting the PMO mission manager with performance management efforts, relevant to performer's training needs

Managing a group of program trainers and/or Curriculum Developers to develop and present relevant training materials to incoming entry-level performers

Training and evaluating newly assigned performers

Developing Individual Training Plans (ITPs) for newly hired entry-level performers

Participate in planning and policy development issues related to program training requirements

Manage existing content and create new programs while seeking strategies to making it scalable.

Proven ability to be an effective contributor within and across teams.

Must be able to review team member training progression and possess the ability to develop performer's knowledge and application of curriculum methodologies and techniques

Identify and analyze knowledge/informational gaps, then design and develop creative learning solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:
Requirements:

Minimum 10 years of experience to include 3 - 5 years in curriculum development and training

Active TS/SCI with Polygraph level clearance is required

3+ years of experience using learning and development methods, developing creative training content

3+ years using Microsoft Office suite.

Desired Qualifications:

Certified Professional in Training Management

Prior supervisory experience

Exemplary communication skills required: written, visual, verbal, presentation.

Ability to multi-task and self-manage workloads and projects with a strong attention to detail.

Target Salary Range:
$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
