Position Overview QinetiQ US is seeking Systems Engineer/System Integrator to support an emerging for an Unmanned Autonomous System (UAS) for a government client. The highly motivated candidate will provide leadership and guidance through knowledge, experience, and their ability to effectively manage and oversee current and emerging Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E) UAS projects. The candidate will help identify, design and integrate autonomous systems to deliver impactful capability to the warfighter quickly. The Systems Engineer/System Integrator's primary responsibilities are to guide an autonomous kinetic or non-kinetic effector system programs through development and expansion into additional mission sets. Responsibilities will include working with government program manager to develop and assess autonomous effectors, working with vendors and performers to develop autonomous algorithms, and engagement with Program Executive Office (PEO) and Combatant Command (COCOM) partners for feedback and advocacy. Additionally, this will include leading multi-disciplinary, multi-agency integrated product team and providing critical advice to the Government Program Manager when gaps are identified. This position will also lead program engagements with multiple Services to foster program integration and operationalization. Responsibilities Interact with Service or Defense Agency Program Offices to leverage existing autonomous algorithms and capabilities in new and innovative ways as it applies to the assigned program Provide routine administrative support to a RDT&E Program Manager including but not limited to scheduling industry days, coordinating with vendors to develop performance work statements, concept of operations, integrated master schedules etc. Guides and supports acquisition management of current and future projects, including the total cost, schedule, and performance. Provide System Engineering and Integrator recommendations as it pertains to Unmanned Arial Vehicles, Systems, Autonomous algorithms, and kinetic or non-kinetic effectors Work with performer and vendors to identify solution sets to develop Command and Control (C2) architectures that work amongst a variety of different UAS platforms Provides critical support in multi-disciplinary, multi-agency integrated product team of professional acquisition personnel across multiple sites nationwide. Leads development of acquisition products and materials in support of transition and transition partner Milestone Decision Authority gates. Oversee collaborative development of requirements and programmatic documents (MOUs, SOWs, Project Outlines, etc.) with Service stakeholders such as USAF and USN partners Special projects as desired Required Qualifications TS/SCI-Eligible - Currently hold an active TS/SCI or have held an SCI and have been debriefed in the last 24 months; Bachelors in Engineering, Physics, Statistics, Computer Science or Science Minimum of 15 years of program management, operational, and analytical experience Proficient in program management, systems engineering, and an in-depth knowledge of one or more of the following: (1) Long range fires; (2) Data science, artificial intelligence, deep learning systems, Autonomous systems; (3) Long range weapon kill chains; (4) Communications, networking, inter-networking in communications denied environments; (5) Cyber Proficient in MS PowerPoint, excel and/or other equivalent program management tools. Excellent communication skills, ability to work in a team environment, and be independently motivated.
