We are currently seeking candidates for an experienced Facility Security Officer (FSO). The FSO will be responsible for maintaining a Facility Security Clearance portfolio and managing all aspects of the National Industrial Security Program (NISP) and other related security activities across T-Solutions' portfolio. This position offers a hybrid remote work schedule upon completion of initial training. Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Conduct FSO duties including, but not limited to, processing Prime and Sub DD254s, escorting uncleared personnel/visitors, maintaining facility checklists, conducting routine inspections, maintaining databases, responding to emerging security-related issues, processing outgoing visit requests, and validating incoming visit requests. • Maintain Personnel Security databases to track new employee security clearance actions and annual security training completion status. • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local security regulations, including NISP and Defense Security Service (DSS) requirements. • Act as a Liaison with the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency and other Department of Defense and Intelligence Community agencies as required. • Provide Security guidance to Program Managers, Human Resources, Recruiting, Contracts and Senior Management. • Oversee the processing of security clearances for employees, ensuring timely and accurate submissions and renewals. • Develop and implement security incident response procedures and investigate security breaches or violations, taking corrective actions as necessary. • Conduct regular security audits and assessments to identify vulnerabilities and implement corrective actions. • Manage visitor access and ensure compliance with visitor control procedures. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date security documentation, including security plans, policies, and procedures. • Conduct security clearance briefings and debriefings for employees as required. • Continuously monitor and assess the security program, recommending and implementing improvements as needed. • Oversee aspects of facilities management for the corporate office. Travel • This position includes a low level of travel. Education, Knowledge, Experience, Skills, and Abilities Required • A bachelor's degree in security administration or a related field of study is preferred, but not required. • Six plus years of experience in an FSO-related role working with personnel to ensure contract security compliance with the National Industrial Security Operating Manual, DoD Manual 5205.07, Contract Security Classification Specification (DD254), and Program Classification Guides. • Wide range of experience solving complex issues with the ability to multi-task and handle requirements at more than one location. • FSO Program Management for Possessing Facilities IS030.CU required. • FSO certification required. • In-depth knowledge of security regulations and procedures, including NISP and DSS requirements. • Experience with security clearance processes and investigations. • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications. • Knowledge of security compliance tracking database applications. • Must have excellent communication skills both oral and written. • Must be organized, efficient, and able to work without direct supervision. • Demonstrated strong judgment, discretion, accountability, and initiative. • Prior experience in a defense contracting or government security role is highly desirable. Qualifications • Active DoD TS security clearance is required to start. • Must be a U.S. citizen. • Must maintain the capability to communicate with their supervisor and/or manager when not in the office. Physical Requirements • Ability to frequently traverse stairs. • Sitting for long periods of time, standing, walking, crouching, and kneeling. • Reaching, handling, and using equipment, keyboards, and mobile devices. • Lifting boxes (files and supplies) up to 20 lbs.
