Job description

Our team, supporting Military Sealift Command (MSC), has an immediate need for a Training Lead to manage and oversee all training efforts conducted to help prepare MSC's Civilian Mariners (CIVMARs) to perform day-to-day management tasks for their shipboard computer systems. • Oversee a technical training staff responsible for delivering classroom and shipboard computer system training, managing curriculum, scheduling classes, generating training videos, and creating contractual deliverables • Meet with internal and external stakeholders to gather inputs used to modify existing curriculum or create new curriculum • Identify key performance indicators to measure the success of training efforts, using them to track and report the impact of training actions and to modify curriculum or training delivery mechanisms as needed • Manage team workloads to ensure all contractually required tasks are completed successfully • Lead StratasCorp's Mobile Training Team (MTT) efforts to close CIVMAR skill gaps by providing shipboard training for the computer systems they support • Delivery classroom or shipboard training as needed Job Requirements • Must possess current IAT II or higher security certification in accordance with IAWF DoD 8570.01M, and be able to get appropriate Computing Environment certification within 6 months of hire • Must have 7 years or more of progressive experience as a technical trainer, training analyst, or training lead • Must have experience managing and leading a team • Must be able to travel to support mission requirements (approximately 10% annually) Security Clearance Secret Job Type Full-time StratasCorp provides a complete compensation package with competitive wages and benefits that include medical, dental, and vision insurance, FSA & HSA accounts, disability and other income protection benefits, life insurance, paid personal time-off benefits, paid holidays, and a 401K Saving Plan with a company matching contribution.
