Location: Chesapeake, Virginia - Traveling Refueler Technician
Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 pm EST

Job Summary:
Join our team as a Refueler Technician and embark on a journey of skill development and career growth. You'll be the driving force behind our mobile refueling operations, keeping our equipment running smoothly across various locations within the Chesapeake, Virginia area. This role involves driving to multiple sites performing precise refueling operations, conducting equipment checks, focusing on trailer-based systems like Black Hawk systems. The ideal candidate will be reliable, safety-conscious, and eager to learn and grow within our company.
Responsibilities:
Drive company vehicle to multiple refueling sites, including potential remote locations
Perform diesel refueling tasks by safely filling tanks, hook/unhook hoses, open/close tank valves
Conduct point checks during refueling, including oil levels, radio functionality, and belt conditions
Complete detailed check-off sheets for each site visit
Replace belts and perform other low-end mechanical tasks as needed
Manage approximately 30 site visits per week, depending on the area
Participate in weekly uptraining opportunities to learn different aspects of equipment and company operations
Adhere to all safety protocols and DOT regulations
Maintain and care for assigned company vehicle
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license with clean driving record
DOT medical card; ability to pass DOT inspections
Ability to pass a comprehensive background check
Willingness to provide professional references
Knowledge of fuel oil levels and belt systems
Basic mechanical skills
Independent worker with strong time management
Detail-oriented with commitment to safety
Physical ability to handle equipment and perform maintenance
Excellent communication and record-keeping skills
Preferred: Experience with trailer-based refueling systems (e.g., Black Hawk)
