Job description

• Only qualified Windows Engineer candidates located in the Clifton Forge, VA area will be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence

This position is a replacement role to be the subject matter expert (SME) for our Microsoft Windows Server/Desktop environment. The Windows Engineer will be responsible for Compute servers hosted in Azure, and 200 Windows Desktops. This is not a helpdesk role. Desktop support will be managing the desktops using Group Policy/Active Directory. In depth Active Directory/Group Policy knowledge/experience is required. Azure IaaS experience would be a plus. The selected candidate will also assist in the maintaining, tuning, and hardening of the Microsoft 365 E5 solution that is already deployed. The selected candidate will be added to an on-call rotation that will be one week a month.

    Additional Details:

  • Must be able to go to Clifton Forge, VA location to pick up laptop

  • Must be willing to come to Clifton Forge, VA once every 45-60 days
