Job Number: R 3D CAD Modeler
Key Role: Provide 3D Computer Aided Design (CAD) in support of US Navy Integrated Topside Design (ITD) and Computational Electromagnetic (CEC) analysis. Develop models that will be used for electromagnetic simulations of radio frequency propagation involving shipboard antennas. Create or update CAD models for structure and equipment type and locations for US Navy ships. Support scans of shipboard topside equipment and incorporation of scan data into the models. Basic Qualifications: 3+ years of experience with performing 3D CAD parametric modeling using CAC software, including Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks 2+ years of experience with Autodesk Inventor 2+ years of experience with CAD data management processes Knowledge of Navy ship topside design standards, including antenna numbering standards Secret clearance HS diploma or GED Additional Qualifications: Experience with Rhino software Experience with Autodesk Vault Experience with Autodesk Inventor 2024 Experience with 3D scanning and associated software Ability to support CAD model assemblies with greater than 100 components Bachelor's degree Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,300.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
