Job description

We are looking for a Dental Hygienist in Cross Lavinder Quinn & Park Dentistry - Daleville located at 175 Market Ridge Lane, Daleville, Virginia 24083 to join our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment. This person will handle a variety of clinical duties for dental office operations including cleaning teeth and examining oral areas, head, and neck for signs of oral disease. They also may educate patients on oral hygiene, take and develop x rays, or apply fluoride or sealants. All aspects of the job require an exceptional level of customer service and communication skills.

Compensation: $40/hour

Schedule: Monday 8a-5p, Tuesday 8a-5p, Wednesday 8a-5p, Thursday 8a-5p Friday 1a-5p

Duties:
- Conduct thorough dental cleanings to remove plaque, calculus, and stains from teeth.
- Perform periodontal assessments and provide appropriate treatments.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
- Administer fluoride treatments and apply protective sealants.
- Maintain accurate patient records and charting.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure the highest standard of patient care.
- Adhere to strict infection control protocols and HIPAA regulations.

Skills:
The ideal candidate for this role should possess the following skills:
- Proficiency in dental terminology and procedures.
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control measures.
- Familiarity with medical imaging techniques.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.
- Ability to perform patient assessments effectively.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $38.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week
