AWS Cloud Architect (Consultant) - FULLY ONSITE
Location: Aurora, CO or Richardson, TX or Dulles, VA
Clearance Required: TS/SCI Position Overview:
DeNOVO Solutions is seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Architect to provide on-site support, insight, and technical guidance for a cleared AWS Cloud-based program. Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Customer with general review of conceptual architectural models using available AWS Services
Reviewing possible deployment patterns for its environment using available AWS resources
Assist the Customer with reviewing the Customer's current architecture, dependencies and operational requirements
Advise the Customer on general best practices for architecting its environment Provide the Customer with documentation/artifacts
Integrate into the Customer team's daily workflow, including working assigned tasks, attending daily stand-ups and periodic technical exchange meetings, planning work for specific features, conducting demonstrations and other routine activities to support the Customer
Implement proposed solutions by developing and integrating infrastructure-as-code, scripts, and other automation code into the Customer's software baseline, and deploying into various accounts
Ability to integrate with a team and be onsite 5x a week with potential for occasional travel to Dulles VA or Dallas TX on an as needed basis Required Skills & Experience:
8+ years of experience supporting AWS/Cloud deployments, infrastructure, and design in a cleared environment
Proficient experience with one or more of the following programming languages/ technologies: Bash, Python, PowerShell, Typescript
Proficient experience with one or more of the following CI/CD/Automation/DevOps tools (Git, Ansible, Jenkins, GitOps) and Operating Systems (Linux and/or Windows)
Proven hands-on experience with setting up cloud environment with AWS tools and services
Proven experience building infrastructure as code technologies including Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK
Experience with software development lifecycle and agile/iterative methodologies
Excellent communication skills Desired Skills & Experience:
Experience with containers and container orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes) Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited institution is required.
Four (4) years of additional experience as a Cloud Engineer/SWE may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree. Security Clearance:
