Job description

Overview LMI seeks a Logistics Analyst to provide support to our Army client onsite at Fort Gregg-Adams, VA. This position supports the Combined Arms Support Command (CASCOM) Force Development Directorate (FDD) with development, maintenance and update to the Army Sustainment Planner's Handbook and other requirements of the Army Logistics Corps. Successful candidates will demonstrate competency in critical thinking and data analysis while upholding the highest standard of ethical behavior. This position cannot be worked remotely. Responsibilities Conduct research and literature reviews for each sustainment organization to be included in the handbook. Canvass various databases, analyze Force Development Updates, and determine their impacts on different formations presented. Review and analyze approved Tables of Organization and Equipment (TOE) located on the Force Management System (FMS) for adjustments driven by other force structure processes, like Basis of Issue Plans (BOIP). Update and document TOE Unit Reference Sheet (URS) in coordination with the United States Army Force Management Support Agency (USAFMSA). Communicate with clients through written reports and oral presentations. Coordinate and staff recommendations with multiple agencies. As requested, provide briefs to the Army Sustainment University, other Centers of Excellence and Army schools on using the handbook in support of training. Qualifications Bachelor's degree required. 1-5 years of relevant logistics work experience. Army knowledge/experience preferred. Strong quantitative skills, including the ability to use Microsoft Office Suite, business intelligence tools, and databases. Demonstrated ability to quickly acquire and apply domain-specific expertise through on-the-job training and professional development training. Superior communication skills, both oral and written. Current U.S. Government security clearance preferred, ability to obtain one is required. Available for occasional travel. Microsoft Power BI knowledge (desired) Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance in a timely manner is required.
