Job description

Marathon TS is looking for an experienced Appian Architect to provide technical and project leadership for one of our clients in McLean, VA. You will lead the technical architecture for a delivery team and act as a trusted advisor to our client. You will interface with the customer to map out a solution, work with the team to ensure its quality and timely implementation, and mentor more junior team members on Agile and technical best practices. What You'll Be Working On: Provide expert leadership and guidance on projects including enterprise application architecture, design review, technical mentorship, and industry specific knowledge Oversee and guide both problem analysis and technical solution implementation through final testing and knowledge transfer Utilize Appian's Best Practices and industry best practices to design and build of BPM applications that reduce overall project risk Design solution architectures based on end-user requirements and complete design reviews of project team deliverables to ensure adherence to best practices, maximize reuse, and minimize technical debt Create process-based applications using Business Process Management Suite, which bring efficiencies to human-centric business processes Supports design, development, and test activities Guide clients and team members on architecture design, configuration management, DevSecOps, and other program initiatives as needed to drive technical success Contribute to Agile best practices Ensure solutions are built for scale and performance Create and document implementation best practices as well as knowledge base articles for internal enablement Provide thought leadership on process improvement Mentorship, training, and enablement of resources How You'll Excel In Your Role: Excellent communication skills Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build relationships Strong sense of ownership of your work Enthusiastic about coaching more junior team members Analytic, technical, and functional experience Technical expertise in process modeling, user interface design and data modeling Extensive experience in migrating data from one format to another using extract, transform and load techniques Experience in working directly with end users to ensure that the functionality of an application meets their requirements Marathon TS is committed to the development of a creative, diverse and inclusive work environment.
