Automated Software Tester Tysons, VA TS/SCI w/ POLYGRAPH The maximum number of FTEs is one (1). Actual FTE bid, labor category, and skill level is at the discretion of the Contractor. INTRODUCTION: My client is seeking creative and dedicated professionals to fulfill their career goals and objectives, while delivering mission excellence on programs of national importance. AIC's National Intelligence Community (NIC) Business Unit, USG Mission and Information Technology Division, is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Specialist/Application Tester to be a part of an integrated team to create, update, and maintain a federated search and discovery software system to integrate data related to financial information from a variety of data providers. These applications will reside in an Amazon Web Services (AWS) Development environment. User requirements and subsequent application features are implemented on an iterative basis in accordance with the Agile Scrum paradigm. WORK REQUIREMENTS: • Creating and maintaining an automated test environment in the AWS environment using Selenium • Testing the developed features and enhancements to web applications, APIs, and web services • Utilizing a tracking system to track all tasks and user stories Required Skills: 1. Automated testing processes/API Testing - Selenium, SoapUI 2. Active TS/SCI with polygraph 3. Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business, Information Management Systems, or a related discipline. Note that years of experience can be substituted in lieu of degree. 4. Five (5) or more years of demonstrated experience in the following: 5. Working within an Agile Scrum team environment 6. Working within a cloud environment, specifically AWS 7. Utilizing the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) 8. Performing requirements analysis? 9. Creating and maintaining an automated test environment using technologies such as Selenium, Junit, and Mockito 10. Testing APIs and applications 11. Utilizing scripting languages such as Java and JavaScript 12. Using team collaboration tools such as Confluence or similar? 13. Using issue tracking applications such as Jira (preferred) or similar Desired Skills: 1. Demonstrated experience supporting Enterprise software development efforts.
