Inova Health System-Willow Oaks is looking for an experienced Maternal-Fetal Sonographer Specialty to join the team. This role will be full-time Monday-Friday, Days.

Maternal Fetal Sonographer Specialty (MFM Sonographer)

Responsibilities:
Demonstrates the ability to use proper cleaning techniques on all TEE probes as well as maintains the Glutaraledehyde solution to include daily testing of the solution and testing of the test strips. Maintains all logs associated with this technique. Maintains equipment, exam rooms, and work areas in a neat and safe condition, to ensure the safety of the patients and employees.
Ensure rooms are stocked with appropriate supplies and have required supplies readily available for procedures, as evidenced by customer satisfaction. Troubleshoots equipment effectively and reports equipment to biomedical engineering/vendor, as evidenced by service reports. Performs/recognizes need for routine maintenance of imagers/processors to maintain consistent quality images, as evidenced by the physician and the exam results. Operates imaging and other related equipment according to manufacturer's specifications, as evidenced by exam results.
May perform additional duties as assigned

Maternal Fetal Sonographer Specialty (MFM Sonographer) Requirements:
Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday
Location: 8260 Willow Oaks Corporate Dr, Suite , Fairfax, VA
Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) Upon Start; Successful completion of the Inova Nuchal Translucency (NT) Program is required within 6 months for team members without the Nuchal Translucency Certification.; Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer - Obstetrics & Gynecology Upon Start
Licensure: None required
Experience: Two (2) years of hospital or doctor's office-based experience in the performance of specialized maternal-fetal sonography detecting fetal anomalies
Education: High School diploma or equivalent; Degree from Accredited Sonography Training Program
