Job Description Join the Intelligence & Security Sector (I&S) as a Manager-level practitioner in support of our Price-To-Win (PTW) practice area. This position, based in McLean, Virginia, reports directly to the I&S Business Development Sr. PTW Director. You will be in charge of the collection of actionable competitive intelligence and the development of PTW analyses that help inform winning bid strategies for significant capture efforts across all lines of I&S' key business areas. Functioning as a hands-on practitioner, you will support individual Capture Managers over the course of the business winning lifecycle to ensure BAE Systems is positioned for success. In addition to having a creative, strategic and analytically-rigorous mind, the PTW Manager should be well versed in a variety of tools and techniques required to collect and interpret competitive intelligence as well as perform PTW analyses using both top-down and bottom-up PTW methods to develop cost/price models and labor-rate analyses for innovative solution bids that include a combination of services and technology architecture. Required Education, Experience, & Skills Minimum of eight years experience in defense industry with a bachelors degree in business, finance or a comparable discipline.
Minimum of five years of experience in PTW and business capture.
Winning PTW track record for opportunities of $100m and higher.
Structured thinker with strong quantitative skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage a significant workload and tight meet deadlines.
Strong oral, written, and presentation-based communication; specifically, ability to communicate PTW research and conclusions to senior management.
Relationship building and influencing without direct authority.
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment. Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Masters degree in related discipline.
Direct experience with major contract types including Cost-Plus (AF/IF/FF), FFP and T&M.
Experience bidding directly to the Intelligence Community/DoD and as prime or as a subcontractor to major defense primes.
Experience applying intelligence-gathering techniques for international pursuits.
Current United States Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance or ability to obtain one. Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $126610 - $215270 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
