Job Description BAE Systems is seeking a highly experienced Senior Motion GEOINT/Tradecraft Deputy Subject Matter Expert. As a critical member of our intelligence community, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our nation's security through the application of cutting-edge geospatial intelligence techniques. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of motion GEOINT, capable of providing strategic guidance, technical expertise, and operational support across various mission-critical areas. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping the future of our motion GEOINT capabilities, from full motion video (FMV) exploitation to the integration of advanced AI technologies. Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as a Deputy Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the sponsor organization, delivering strategic guidance and support to the Operations Center within Sponsors's Office of Counterterrorism.
Strategic Advisory: Provide expert advice to Sponsor leadership on processes, technology, and operational efficiencies to optimize performance and effectiveness.
Standards and Procedures: Maintain an intimate knowledge of motion GEOINT standards and procedures within the sponsor organization and a working knowledge of tradecraft throughout the Intelligence Community (IC).
SOP Development: Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Full Motion Video (FMV) exploitation operations as approved by Sponsor leadership.
Technical Problem-Solving: Apply knowledge of hardware and software solutions to address advanced problems arising within the sponsor organization, especially as new requirements emerge from mission partners.
Liaison Role: Act as a liaison with mission partner program development officers to recommend improvements, fixes, and advancements in motion GEOINT collection hardware and software.
Capability Evaluation: Evaluate new capabilities and assist sponsor leadership in defining mission requirements during testing phases.
Training Collaboration: Collaborate with the training team to advise on the development of training modules that align with advancing tradecraft and technology. Required Education, Experience, & Skills Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience within the US Intelligence Community, with a demonstrated ability to work at a senior level. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field can account for up to 3 years of experience.
Knowledge: Deep understanding of motion GEOINT standards and procedures, and familiarity with tradecraft across the Intelligence Community.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in hardware and software solutions related to motion GEOINT and experience in solving complex technical problems.
Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience serving as a liaison and advisor to senior leadership and external partners.
Problem-Solving: Proven ability to evaluate and address advanced technical and operational challenges.
Clearance: Active TS/SCI security clearance required, with a willingness to submit to a full-scope polygraph examination. Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills - Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required; advanced degree preferred.
- Web Development: Practical knowledge of web site development. Versed in HTML-5, JavaScript, PHP, Python, SQL, and equivalent web-based languages.
- AI Familiarity: A basic knowledge of AI workings, development, and integration, specifically large-language models and computer vision.
- Multi-Int Archive and Analysis System (MAAS): Possess a working knowledge of General Dynamics MAAS suite of software and a how it can be incorporated into a FMV analysis workflow.
- Experience: MAACS TO3 or GEO SPI A004, other FMV programs - Other desired skills: ability to work within a team, proven ability to work independently, knowledgeable on intelligence organizations, collection, and reporting systems Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $112420 - $191070 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
