Overview LMI is seeking a skilled Supply Chain Solutions Technical Advisor. Responsibilities Responsibilities may include: Support projects analyzing existing supply chains (including inventory management, maintenance, and distribution) in government organizations such as the Department of Defense (DoD). Support and lead tasks analyzing existing supply chains within the DoD. Work with various datasets to develop logistics capabilities for clients dealing with supply chain resilience. Work within Advana to conduct analytics using various tools and collaborate with stakeholders to use all available data holdings to respond various ad-hoc requests. Collaborate with both technical and functional team members to design analytical products. Collaborate with user interface and data engineers to codify analytics into structured outputs and visualizations. Perform data analysis, develop briefings and papers for all levels of DoD leadership, and conduct research in support of DoD logistics strategy and supply chain initiatives. Engage with potential user organizations to discuss and design both functional and technical capabilities. Conduct assessments of relevant datasets to determine how data can be used as part of the overall supply chain risk solutions. Support internal initiatives, ranging from R&D to business development Qualifications M INIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors degree in business administration, supply chain management, logistics, or technical discipline. 10+ plus years' experience in DoD logistics and supply chain management. Excellent quantitative and analytical skills and experience conducting analysis various tools including SQL, Python, etc. Demonstrated ability to use MS Office Suite to include Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Superior communication skills, both oral and written High energy, enthusiasm, tact, ability to effectively interact with senior executives from Government and industry . Ability to create and foster a cooperative work environment. Self-directed, detail oriented in completing assigned tasks, able to adapt to changing work efforts and manage impact of shifting priorities. Availability for occasional travel. This position requires the ability to obtain a security clearance at the Secret level. You must be a US citizen. DESIRED SKILLS Master's degree Prior military or DoD civilian/contractor experience Working knowledge of Advana or its underlying technology (Databricks, etc) Experience leveraging various DoD supply chain datasets to conduct supply chain risk analysis.
