Job Description The Talent Acquisition Scrum Project Owner will be responsible for the comprehensive oversight and management of the talent acquisition process for assigned contracts and recruiting teams. This dynamic role involves leading the recruiting team to achieve ambitious staffing and hiring objectives, strategically aligning hiring efforts with assigned contracts and The successful candidate will develop and implement innovative staffing strategies in collaboration with contract leaders, ensuring the seamless execution of recruiting sessions and strategies to meet contract staffing needs. The candidate will be responsible for updating the staffing strategies and outcomes to the Senior Director of Program Delivery and Senior Director of Program Support for all assigned contracts. The Talent Acquisition Project Owner will conduct daily recruiting sprints, driving the recruiting team towards effective and efficient recruitment and hiring practices. This position also involves coaching and mentoring recruiters, continuously updating talent acquisition processes, and fostering strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will bring a robust background in talent acquisition, recruiting, and project management, along with a demonstrated passion for developing and leading high-performing recruiting teams. Required Skills Recruiting Sprints:
Conduct and oversee daily recruiting sprints to ensure timely and efficient fulfillment of hiring needs.
Monitor sprint progress, remove obstacles, and ensure team adherence to timelines and goals.
Recruit candidates for contracts, maintain a deep pipeline of vetted candidates, and support staffing objectives of the recruiting team. Contract and Contractor Staffing Management:
Manage contracts related to talent acquisition, ensuring assigned contracts are staffed and backfilled.
Coach hiring managers on TA process and forecast staffing priorities as per needs of the business
Align recruiting team and hiring managers on hiring and staffing priorities. Setting hiring objectives, meeting strict deadlines, and ensuring staffing needs are met.
Team Leadership and Development:
Teach, coach, and mentor a team of recruiters, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance recruiter skills and knowledge.
Process Improvement:
Continuously update and improve talent acquisition processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Implement best practices and innovative strategies to attract top talent.
Stakeholder Relationship Management:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and industry partners.
Act as the project manager for assigned projects and contracts, implementing staffing solutions and providing recommendations to hiring managers and project leaders. Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in talent acquisition, or similar leadership roles including experience in sprints, recruiting, staffing, project management.
Experience managing contracts and contractors is highly desirable.
Skills:
Strong project management skills with a proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders.
Proficient in using talent acquisition software and tools.
Knowledge of current recruiting trends and best practices. Qualifications and Certifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Scrum Certified or ability to obtain within 30 days
