Skills

4+ years of public accounting experience

CPA certification required

Strong tax research skills

Proficiency in Excel; experience with CCH ProSystems or Axcess is a plus

Ability to review and prepare 1040, corporate, partnership, estate, trusts, and multi-state returns for clients in various sectors including manufacturing, construction, non-profit, and employee benefit plans

Responsibilities

Oversee tax compliance and advisory services for various clients

Review and prepare tax returns including 1040, corporate, partnership, estate, trusts, and multi-state returns

Conduct tax research to support compliance and planning

Manage client relationships and communicate effectively with stakeholders

Mentor and train junior staff in tax processes and procedures

Qualifications

CPA certification is mandatory

Proven experience in public accounting with a focus on tax

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Bachelors degree in Accounting or a related field
