Description Markon is seeking a Fire Protection Engineer to support one of our Intelligence Community Customers. Responsibilities Conduct inspections of new construction and renovations to validate compliance of fire protection and life safety. Witness testing and commissioning of fire protection systems and equipment Conduct fire safety audits, inspections, and investigations Prepare draft fire protection policy, SOPs, and design standards Prepare and brief documentation on fire safety data and metrics Develop cost estimates and reports Manage design efforts, construction efforts, contractor performance, and change requests Ensure integration of IT systems, security, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems Qualifications Must have an active TS/SCI FSP clearance Bachelor's Degree plus 11 years of experience (experience/education may be substituted for equivalency) Previous experience in the construction of fire suppression and fire alarm systems Ability to travel domestically and internationally Salary Range USD $120,000.00 - USD $170,000.00 /Yr. The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
