Our work depends on a Task Order Manager joining our team to support the Department of Health and Human Services' (HHS) Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network (OPTN) Modernization Initiative

At GDIT, we put our people first. As a Task Order (TO) Manager supporting the HSRA OPTN program, you will be responsible for developing and managing TOs on a large federal IDIQ contract.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

Provide project management, planning, and integration support for one or more TOs.

Work closely with the HRSA Customer and GDIT's OPTN IDIQ Management Office to coordinate in scope activities and deliver desired products, services, value and benefits.

Provide technical, administrative, and operational management of a variety of efforts and projects ranging from simple to complex.

Supervise assigned project teams to ensure TOs are completed on schedule and on budget, as well as within authorized scope.

Conduct discovery efforts, planning activities, and provide recommendations to the HRSA OPTN client.

Coordinate the involvement of appropriate subject matter experts across the project lifecycle, as needed for TO management and success.

Support IDIQ growth activities to develop winning response to TOs issues under this contract.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED (required):

Bachelor's Degree in a related technical or clinical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience.

8 + years of experience managing programs, projects, or task orders.

Experience in management of program, project, and/or TO cost and schedule, directing team personnel, ensuring contract compliance, and serving as customer interface.

Proficient with Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.

Experience with stakeholder engagement and relationship management.

Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative, fast-paced, growth-focused environment.

Experience with process development and process management

Experience with discovery, system development, and process implementation methodologies

Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative environment with dynamic priorities and firm deadlines.

Experience managing change control activities, including product backlogs, scope management, and impact and gap analysis

Ability to travel up to approximately 25% if needed.

WHAT WOULD BE EVENR BETTER (preferred):

PMP certification.

Agile/Scrum certification.

Experience with Cloud Services, Security, and Risk Management

Health IT related project execution experience

Experience working with and/or practical knowledge of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA)

SECURITY CLEARANCE LEVEL:

Must be able to obtain up to a Public Trust Level 5 clearance with HRSA.

The likely salary range for this position is $119,000 - $161,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
