Job description

Overview Delaware Nation Industries (DNI) is a prime contractor providing manpower and support of IT Operations and Maintenance within a Federal Agency. Our team must ensure every employee has reliable support and access to the network. We are currently interviewing for a Business Analyst to support this initiative in an enterprise-level work environment. The Business Analyst is vital to the success of our support for the Agency. The position is important to the Agencies goal of documenting and automating manual processes. The ability to take formal and informal processes and enhance them by documenting them in step by step workflows is a requirement for this position. The initial focus will be on Federal Agency requirements, FOIA, Privacy, and Records Management. Responsibilities Assess and document the federal agency's records processes, procedures, and information systems in compliance with regulations
Create and maintain documentation on organizational processes, workflows, and best practices.
Performs process mapping where none exist and analyzes weaknesses and repetitions in current established processes Ensure appropriate application related training is developed and made available to users Automate or increase efficiency of current manual processes (automated builds, automated static and dynamic code analysis, unit testing, logging, release management and test automation for each project) Identify and document the necessary requirements for records compliance, crucial compliance metrics, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that require monitoring within a records management dashboard for a federal agency Qualifications A minimum of 8 years' experience working within the DoD or other Federal agency, or as contract support to such agency, working with Federal regulatory, privacy, records management, or FOIA programs Requires excellent written and verbal skills Requires ability to prioritize, organize and demonstrate strong attention to detail Understanding of legal and regulatory mandates associated with records management, encompassing privacy, data protection, and retention schedules Skill in communicating with senior leaders (e.g., interpersonal skills, approachability, effective listening, appropriate use of style and language) Requires experience with various automation technologies Ability to pass a high-level background investigation
