Training and Education Specialist Location: Ft. Belvoir, VA Required Clearance: TS/SCI CI Poly Employment Type: Full-Time Regular Shift: Day Travel: No Relocation Assistance: Yes As a Training and Education Specialist supporting a key Army program, you will play a vital role in developing and delivering innovative training solutions. You will collaborate with intelligence professionals, course designers, and subject matter experts to craft and execute training programs that enhance the Army's capabilities in intelligence operations, with a focus on Open Source Research (OSR), Open Source Intelligence (OSINT), and Publicly Available Information (PAI). Your role ensures personnel are equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to support mission-critical operations and emerging intelligence requirements. Key Responsibilities: Curriculum Development & Instruction: Lead the creation, refinement, and delivery of comprehensive training curricula, courses, and Programs of Instruction (POI) focused on key intelligence domains, leveraging the ADDIE process for maximum instructional effectiveness.
Training Program Execution: Plan and facilitate seminars, practical exercises, workshops, and on-the-job training to support intelligence operations. Adapt instructional strategies to meet evolving training needs and mission priorities.
OSINT and PAI Training Leadership: Utilize subject matter expertise to conduct detailed training on Open Source Research, Open Source Intelligence, and Publicly Available Information collection and analysis. Support operational units with customized OSINT/PAI training and advisory services.
Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with program stakeholders to establish quality standards and continuously assess the effectiveness of training programs. Incorporate feedback and lessons learned to refine curriculum and training methodologies.
Team Collaboration & Mentorship: Coordinate closely with program managers, instructional designers, and intelligence analysts to align training with mission objectives. Serve as a mentor and guide for junior trainers, fostering a collaborative learning environment. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or higher with 3 years of relevant intelligence experience, OR a High School Diploma with 7 years of relevant intelligence experience.
Proven expertise and formal training in Open Source Research (OSR), Open Source Intelligence (OSINT), or Publicly Available Information (PAI).
Active TS/SCI clearance.
Ability to complete the TRADOC Basic Instructor Course at Fort Gregg-Adams within six months of joining the contract. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in planning and delivering military courses, managing seminars, and conducting hands-on training exercises and workshops.
Proven track record of developing Programs of Instruction (POI) for military or government audiences.
Ability to author and revise training content and curricula using instructional systems design methodologies, including analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation (ADDIE).
Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage diverse audiences and manage training logistics.
