Job description
Overview Provide lead support for operation, maintenance, integration, data warehousing, testing, installation, systems administration, cloud administration, software engineering (limited to code fixes and/or small corrective actions), change management, incident management, configuration management, training, life cycle maintenance, procurement support, help desk services, management support, and system documentation for the Army Capabilities and Architecture Development and Integration Environment (ArCADIE) system of systems environment. Responsibilities Provide lead support for operation, maintenance, integration, data warehousing, testing, installation, systems administration, cloud administration, software engineering (limited to code fixes and/or small corrective actions), change management, incident management, configuration management, training, life cycle maintenance, procurement support, help desk services, management support, and system documentation for the ArCADIE system of systems environment. Ensure maintenance of tools/applications within existing infrastructure to support Army leadership, staff, and personnel to improve integration and management of projects and data. Ensure to provide operations and maintenance modifications to software in response to Government requests. Test the software, provide test reports, and demonstrate successful operation of the developed software to the Government. Ensure that all software products comply with Government requirements and system performance meets Government expectations in an operational environment. Manage the installation of software at operational sites selected by the Government and provide hands-on training to system users. support technical discussions, troubleshoot problem areas, and take corrective actions. Maintain the operational availability, quality, accuracy and relevance of ArCADIE approved tools and integrated data standards Maintain Operational Readiness (OR) status during a monthly period with a 98% system OR . Provide quarterly maintenance updates (minor release cycle) per year. Update details and specifics will be determined by AIMD priorities and scoped through the Configuration Control Board (CCB) process. Adjust plans and/or strategies to account for emerging capabilities from industry for architecture development, data storage, business intelligence, and visualization of data. Perform technology upgrades into existing systems including modifying and debugging resources and software required to maintain operation of enterprise architecture tools, repositories and automated systems. Track individual metrics for all sub-tasks on a monthly basis and include results in monthly. Develop and maintain a change management backlog reporting system to capture change requests. The change request backlog shall be used for the tracking and prioritization of maintenance actions. Qualifications Required: Possess a Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Science, or Information Technology At least 10 years of demonstrated experience managing software intensive technology projects within complex IT environments Demonstrated knowledge and experience applying the Software Development Life Cycle processes and successful delivery of high quality software applications Experience leading large, enterprise web-based software applications with complex data federation demonstrated by leading software teams. Experience leading development and maintenance of software applications employing Microsoft technologies including C#, Active Server Pages (ASP)/.NET, SQL, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery, AJAX, C++, HTML/DHTML, Azure with Platform as a Service (PaaS), Azure DevOps, Dynamics 365 Experience with software tools Microsoft Visual Studio .NET, Microsoft Visual C++6.0, Microsoft SQL Server 2016, JBuilder 5.0, Crystal Reports, SSRS, and Internet Information Systems. Experience responding to and expeditiously resolving system availability disruptions and maintaining continuity of operations through ITIL processes Experience with the application of Business Intelligence (BI), integration of both structured and unstructured data in support of operational processes, and management of a diverse workforce to solve complex information management challenges Experience with cloud service providers, both Government and/or commercial, as well as collaboration efforts with DISA.
