Job description

Duties Manages, plans and coordinates projects and actions concerning operations and activities of the training community. Develops policies and plans for strengthening coordination of the development of future Army training architectures. Resolves policy conflicts among DCS G 3/5/7 staff elements and between Headquarters, TRADOC, the Combined Arms Center (CAC), and the Combined Arms Support Command (CASCOM) elements. Reviews and coordinates G-3/5/7 projects and actions which influence other services or federal agencies in the training community. Monitors overall staff actions, projects, and activities. Serves as a first line supervisor, exercising the full range of personnel management responsibilities over subordinate positions. Requirements Conditions of Employment Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance. This position may require temporary duty (TDY) for business for up to 20% of the time. This position is a Testing Designated Position (TDP) subject to applicant testing and random drug testing. Tentatively selected applicants will be required to sign DA Form 5019 requiring participation in random drug testing.
