Responsibilities
General
The Videographer shall have the expertise in VI and TV/video systems and processes.
The Videographer shall provide video services, to include all phases of video production, and shall perform as a videographer at multiple events. Communication skills must be above average so as to groom this individual to progress to work on high-echelon projects that involve large production crews and a variety of lighting instruments where teamwork and mastery of interpreting scripts and 34 storyboards is vital to success.
This individual will be tasked with overseeing smaller projects with or without supervision, thereby fulfilling a need to support more modest productions. Qualifications
Must have and maintain a Secret Level security clearance
Minimum five (5) years of videography experience.
Shall have a proven history of the basic methods and techniques required of a skilled cinematographer and possess the technical aptitude and background in the practical application of scripting, directing, shooting, lighting, audio, and editing in video production.
A background with the various camera systems and color correcting tools available to the EMC is a must for consideration in this position. Physical Requirements The physical demands described herein are representative of those which may need to be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Employees must possess the ability to work in an office environment. If required, employees must be able to operate a motor vehicle which may require sitting for prolonged periods of time to visit other company sites. Must have hearing and speech to communicate in person, before groups, and over the telephone. Standing in work areas and walking between work areas may be required. This position may require an employee to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb or balance, reach, push, and pull. The employee may also be required to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
