Job description
Job Title: Soldier Support Institute (SSI) Human Factors (DOTMLPF-P) Integration Capability Developer Duties: Will review and provide comments to documents requiring review in support of the TPO SMC mission including Joint Publications (JP), Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTP), Army Technique Publication (ATP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Army Regulations, DA Pamphlets, and Common Operating Environment standards.
Review documents prepared by other organizations in the Army's automated systems development and acquisition community, recommending solutions for better defining data interface and integration. Review and recommended changes to related SMC Capability Description Documents, Capability Production Documents (CPD), Requirements Definition Packages, Capability Drops, War Fighting Function functional documentation and related architecture products that support the JCIDS products.
Review and provide recommended changes to SMC Concept of Operations (CONOPS) ensuring document reflects proper hardware and allocation strategy.
Analyze and verify DOTMLPF impacts resulting from business process changes and policy changes.
Participate in meetings, briefings, Workshops, Configuration Control Boards (CCB), Integrated Process Teams (IPT), Council of Colonels (CoC), In Process Reviews (IPR) and other meetings as required to accomplish the tasks in this contract.
Prepare and present briefings. Provide weekly input and technical support to progress reviews and ongoing projects and associated solutions with Government team members for line of effort briefings which provide updates on the status of projects, programs, or missions.
Qualifications: Ability to work independently and as a member of a geographically dispersed group.
Demonstrated experience in working and leading teams. Possess excellent communication, presentation development, and customer interaction skills, both face-to-face and virtually.
Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office Suite products, especially MS Word, Excel, and Power Point.
Training and experience with the Joint Capabilities and Integration Development System (JCIDS) and capability development systems, products, and processes.
Understanding of the DOTMLPF and interrelationships.
Must be able to travel within and outside the United States and therefore possess a U.S. Passport.
Other Job Specific Qualifications: Must possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited college.
Must possess a minimum of two (2) years of experience reviewing capability development and integration efforts. Must possess experience developing and reviewing related contents of developed CRDs and JCIDS documents to ensure that the requirements are accurate and identify required capabilities needed to implement SMC concepts.
Must possess ability to provide Human Systems Integration (HSI) and analysis of the process by which to design and develop systems that effectively and affordably integrate human capabilities and limitations to ensure that HSI is included as an integral part of a total system approach to systems development and acquisition.
Possess subject matter expertise in the following basic HSI areas: Human Factors Engineering, System Safety, Health Hazards, Personnel, Survivability, Manpower, Personnel Training, and Habitability
Capable of providing written recommendations to the Government on Sustainment Mission Command concepts and capability development issues and conducting reviews of a wide variety of business situations.
Must possess ability to conduct complete, accurate, and astute business and systems analyses, utilizing business reporting and analysis tools.
Demonstrated experience collaborating with other teams to create test plans, analyze test cases, identify issues and escalating to appropriate leadership.
