Description Technical Security Specialist - Security Program Support Team Lead Xcelerate Solutions is seeking a Technical Security Specialist Team Lead to support the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) Headquarters and Contract Management Offices . In this role you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the efforts of the Security Program Support team, managing the implementation and maintenance of traditional security programs, including physical, information, operations, personnel security, counterintelligence, antiterrorism, and counter-Insider Threat. The Team Lead, under the oversight of and in coordination with the Program Manager, will provide high-level guidance on the development and execution of security policies and procedures, support the direct assessments and updates of those policies and procedures, and ensure all tasks meet government standards. Further, you will act as the primary point of contact for more complex security-related tasks and manage team deliverables to ensure timely submission and compliance with established protocols . Location: Fort Gregg-Adams, VA Clearance: Secret Responsibilities: Oversee the execution and management of security programs, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and safety of DCMA assets, personnel, and information. Lead the integration of government policy decisions, technical requirements, and security methods into policies, manuals, SOPs, and other documentation. Review and synthesize multiple security-related government policies, regulations, and statutes, translating them into actionable procedures for the team. Schedule and conduct foreign travel briefings, coordinate Isolated Personnel Report (ISOPREP), and confirm DTS travel for OCONUS visits, including researching location-specific threats and requirements. Provide high-level support for Personnel Security by updating the Defense Information Security System (DISS) and Electronic Security Personnel File (EPSF), ensuring accuracy and compliance. Manage recordkeeping, database updates, and package preparation for Personnel Security and Counter-Insider Threat assessments. Lead the formal Security Assessment program, managing database updates, technical editing of formal assessments, scheduling, and feedback sessions with stakeholders. Supervise the update and revision of Information Security and Operations Security manuals and submit these updates to the government for review. Oversee the submission of Foreign Travel Briefing Packages, Personnel Accountability Assessment System remedy tickets, and policy/manual revisions (Deliverables A016, A017, A018). Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
