Job Description:

As a FP&A, you will support the fiscal, budgetary, and accounting operations.

Plans, organizes, develops, maintains, and coordinates the development and implementation of fiscal operations, processes, policies, and procedures.

Support development of the annual budget and reviews statewide expenditure and spend plan data.

You will perform monthly program/project expense analysis and assist with the review and analysis of expenditures and budgets.

Will be responsible for supporting executive decision making and presenting the financial aspects of projects to senior management.

Requires understanding budgeting and accounting with the ability to analyse complex business problems and recommend solutions.

Participate in the development and maintenance of performance metrics, measurements, methods, and targets to promote financial accountability, and assist in identifying performance improvement opportunities.

Provide good customer service to internal team members & external customers, comprehensive analytical skills (Excel, MS Word), being an effective communicator, as well as being self-motivated and showing initiative while accomplishing the task at hand.

Skills & Experiences:

Extensive experience in the use of the computers and software (Microsoft 365) applications. Excel Pivot Tables, Vlookups, complex spreadsheets, etc.

Extensive in financial analysis and forecasting and forecasting

Customer service to broad audiences, professionals, vendors, team members and executive staff

General knowledge of accounting practices and financial management

Experience in performance metrics, measurements, methods, and targets to promote financial accountability

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $40 to $60/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location and industry.
