Molding Manager

What You'll Do:


  • Lead and oversee injection molding operations.
  • Administer and enforce the plant safety program.
  • Manage production training and development initiatives.
  • Guide, support, and develop supervisors and team leaders across three shifts.
  • Identify and implement strategies to minimize workplace injuries and accidents.
  • Maintain the safety learning management system and training records.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to safety and operations training programs.
  • Conduct safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Inspect safety equipment and recommend necessary replacements.
  • Develop, prepare, and implement safety documents, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety laws and regulations.
  • Complete required OSHA recordkeeping and reporting documents.
  • Collaborate with the technical processing manager to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Lead accident and incident investigations.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

What You Bring:


  • Proven ability to develop and empower subordinates.
  • Strong delegation skills.
  • Experience in injection molding management is a plus.
  • Expertise in managing a diverse, multilingual workforce.
  • An OSHA 30 Card or equivalent experience is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively identify issues, provide solutions, and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in providing safety and operations training in a production environment.
  • Familiarity with Alchemy Training LMS is a plus.
  • Lean Management experience is an advantage.
  • Excellent problem-solving, investigative, and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively in English.
