Job description
Overview Support the Air Combat Command Requirements Directorate (ACC/A5I) to implement and sustain new and existing applications, and processes in support of the requirements of the Remote Piloted Aircraft (RPA) and High-Altitude ISR modernization. Responsibilities Coordinate with operational RPA units and Combatant Commanders (COCOMS) to determine their commercial ku-band SATCOM bandwidth requirements. Coordinate the consolidated requirements with appropriate ACC staff Provide performance work statement (PWS) inputs that Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) requires to acquire satellite leases Provide contractor support to DISA during the bandwidth acquisition process Act as technical POC for DISA and the satellite vendors after leases are acquired Distribute Satellite Transmission Plans received from the satellite vendors Develop and manage a web-based schedule to allocate satellite bandwidth to requesting units Receive weekly and out-of-cycle requests from operational users during normal duty hours. Work with DISA and the satellite vendors to resolve satellite connectivity issues Manage ACC/A5I Satellite Earth Terminal (SET) Fielding and Distribution Plan Support technical interchange meetings and teleconferences for new SET requirements and planned modifications Provide project management services for SET relay site standup activities Managing OCONUS and CONUS satellite leases. Providing functional analysis support to determine Combatant Command requirements, support for lease acquisitions, coordination of troubleshooting activities, and development of POM inputs. Qualifications Required: Undergraduate Degree from an accredited university and four (4) years of experience working satellite communications-related duties; or ten (10) years of experience working satellite communications related duties Five (5) years of staff experience on USAF MAJCOM (or higher), NAF, or Wing level (combination of active duty, government service and/or contractor) Five (5) years of experience managing and scheduling large-scale projects and/or fielding Department of Defense (DoD) capabilities Familiar with Centralized Asset Management (CAM) sustainment funding and processes Knowledge and experience with JCIDS processes and documents Top Secret clearance, SCI-eligible Company Overview Integral partners with federal defense, intelligence, and civilian leaders to tackle their most important challenges and deliver positive outcomes.
