Job description

DevSecOps Engineer needed for a long-term contract opportunity with SOC's client to work fully remote but local to OH, VA, MA, or TX. Active Secret Clearance required for this role Responsibilities: • I Identify and recommend DevSecOps tools for implementation in an Azure development environment. • Analyze existing DevSecOps tools in the development environment and recommend improvements. • Work with the experimentation team to troubleshoot issues with tools and the Azure environment. • Help develop an application workflow to transfer approved applications into additional application development environments. • Configure and maintain tools within the development environment. • Design and Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-availability, and CI/CD deployable IaC solutions supporting a robust and cloud-agnostic DevSecOps environment. • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new infrastructure features. • Implementation: Develop server-side logic and RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js or similar frameworks. • Performance: Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. • Troubleshooting: Identify and correct bottlenecks, and fix bugs to improve infrastructure performance. • Maintenance: Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation. • Knowledge Sharing: Stay informed about new technologies and techniques in full-stack development and share knowledge with the team. Skills: 2+ years of overall technical experience. 1+ years' experience as a DevOps Engineer, Architect, and Lead responsible for designing, developing, and implementing CI/CD pipelines and deploying into cloud environments. 2+ years experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Longhorn, Big Bang and on Azure or AWS. Extensive experience with Helm Chart deployments. Several years' experience in design, implementation, configurations, production support, and migrations for public, private, and GovCloud environments. 2+ years' experience with Bash/PowerShell/Terraform/Ansible for scripting and supporting, building, and employing CI/CD pipelines. Experience with IaC (infrastructure as code) and CaC (configuration as code), and toolsets including Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes, etc. Experience in DevSecOps implementation using Jenkins, Gitlab, or similar tools. Experience in developing and managing Kubernetes (k8s) clusters. Working knowledge of Source Version Control and Build/Release tools and methodologies Possess a strong understanding of Software Build process and how it connects to CI/CD (continuous integration/continuous delivery) Employment Pre-requisites The following requirements must be met to be eligible for this position: successful completion of a background investigation and d rug urinalysis.
