Apogee is seeking a Financial Management Analyst to work with the Air Combat Command (ACC)/A2 Intelligence Directorate. This is a full-time role at Langley Air Force Base (AFB), VA. Why work with us? What you will be doing: Assist with capability-based operational requirement development, Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) support, integration management, configuration management, training, exercise support, and test and evaluation. Assist in the development and presentation of ACC's planning and programming tasks across ACC/A2, including facilitation, development, and integration of bullet background papers, Tri-Charts, and Resource Allocation Programming Information Decision System (RAPIDS) slides. Provide assistance and expertise to support capital planning and investment strategies, 3080/3600 funding, and spend-plan development; integrate tasks during all phases of the PPBE cycle. Conduct resource management methodology studies, weighted assessment, and cost analysis. Assist in the development and presentation to ACC staff of various integrations, identify, evaluate, and assist ACC in integrating emerging multidiscipline ISR technologies and non-materiel solutions. Monitor and provide advice for ongoing weapon system activities and ACC/A2 program advocacy to ACC/589 Mission Teams and the ACC Corporate Structure. Ensure and report compliance with prescribed regulations and instructions regarding analysis of alternatives, materiel, and non-material solution modeling and simulation, and cost analysis strategies in conjunction with ISR components and acquisition agents to mitigate risks to operational ISR system components and assigned missions. Track, validate, and satisfy ISR tasks and Requests for Information (RFIs) while managing project-associated databases and activities for multiple command echelons. Assist in researching and analyzing information and trends to determine the costs of accomplishing specific work objectives, organizational needs, and tasks. Assist in developing recommendations to appropriate leadership during conditions of short and rapidly changing program and budgetary deadlines; recommend alternatives/methods for alleviating critical funding shortages. Assist in preparing detailed plans, budgets, and schedules for major programs in accordance with DoDFMR 7000.14R and AF publications series 65, Financial Management. Aid in the development and administration of program budget activities, schedules, and meetings. Minimum Experience:Citizenship: Must be a US citizen
Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain a Top Secret with SCI Eligibility
Education: Bachelor's degree in a Business, Finance, or relevant field
Years of experience: 8 years of Wing, NAF, MAJCOM, or HAF experience executing PPBE-related activities, with an emphasis on planning and programming, plus: Working knowledge of the DoD Financial Management Regulation (FMR) and associated Air Force instructions as well as the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). Possess experience providing program management and monitoring of Air Force Intelligence missions, organizations, systems, architectures, basing, and modernization Possess strong verbal and written communication skills Preferred Experience: Education and Experience: Master's degree with 10 years relevant experience, including 3 years supporting the DoD Benefits: Apogee offers two medical plans, a high deductible health plan with an HRA and a traditional POS plan with co-pays, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, PTO, paid holidays, parental, military, and jury duty paid leaves.
