Responsibilities & Qualifications RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and implement innovative technical solutions to solve challenging issues and enhance IT systems' functionality, scalability, and security.
Contribute to and guide the creation of new principles, concepts, and processes that advance project goals and align with the organization's strategic objectives.
Lead the development of technical processes, methodologies, and documentation to support high-quality implementation and sustainment of IT systems.
Conduct in-depth research and provide expert analysis to resolve complex technical issues related to IT architecture, systems integration, software development, telecommunications, and security engineering.
Act as the technical expert within executive-level project teams, providing direction, alternative solutions, and interpretive guidance on project challenges.
Take self-initiated actions to meet project requirements and objectives, working under consultative direction and pursuing courses of action necessary to obtain desired results.
Oversee and manage complex assignments, providing guidance for the technical team and ensuring all tasks align with project timelines, quality standards, and client requirements.
Engage with stakeholders, including executive leadership, project managers, technical teams, and government representatives, to provide clear and concise updates on project status, technical solutions, and risks.
Demonstrate exceptional oral and written communication skills to effectively convey complex technical concepts to a range of audiences.
Offer expert functional support for major IT development and upgrade efforts, ensuring solutions are properly integrated, tested, and documented.
Provide postproduction support and technical guidance to sustain IT system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements as necessary. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience:
Four (4) years' experience supporting DoD shared service providers and/or major DoD development/upgrade effort
Certifications:
DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAT Level II
