Physical Security Manager Job Category: Security Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCI Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Continental US Serves as the AFLCMC C3I- experimental (C3IA-X) Physical Security Manager and alternate Special Security Representative (SSR), providing physical, personnel, information, and industrial security program functions at both the Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and collateral levels. Implements DOD, HQ USAF, and MAJCOM policies and develops supplemental procedures and guidelines to ensure appropriate implementation of these security protocols. All other duties assigned. Security Manager: Subject matter expert of the Defense Information System for Security (DISS). Provides authoritative technical assistance when higher level guidance and directives is ambiguous or open to interpretation. Implements and tracks a reoccurring Security Education Awareness Training (SEAT) program for Collateral. Conducts clearance verification; prepares and maintains visitor database for entire facility. Liaisons with ACC FDO for access control of Foreign National into the facility (coalition lab). Provides guidance and policy on the transport and mailing of classified material. Receives, inventories and maintains classified mailings. Provides guidance and assistance in the destruction of classified material and hardware in accordance with National Security Agency (NSA) Policy. Maintains and certifies all equipment utilized for the destruction of classified material and hardware. Special Security Representative: Maintains SCIF accreditation via Fixed Facility Check (FFC) and TEMPEST addendum updates, in accordance with Intelligence Community Directives (ICD) and MAJCOM Policy. Implements and tracks a reoccurring Security Education Training Awareness (SETA) program for SCI. Conducts random and scheduled inspections and assessments of the physical structure, infrastructure and the personnel within the SCIF. Works directly with the Information Systems Security Manager to maintain strict adherence to policy regarding classified media and material accountability. Industrial Security: Supports multiple SSO's and FSO's with industrial security issues, such as reinvestigation, INDOC requests, and DD254 accuracy. Ensures all personnel on a perm cert are on a valid DD-254. Works directly with multiple company Facility Security Officers ensuring employees have the proper security clearances to enter and work in the facility. Conducts regular audits of all contract employee security clearances. Physical Security Manager: Provides all-encompassing (anti-terrorism, physical, personnel, information, industrial) security oversight and management for C3IA-X. Manages intrusion detection, access control, and close-circuit (CCTV) security systems. Subject Matter expert in Lenel and Genetec platforms. Performs minor repairs and part replacement of existing systems. Maintains inventory of access control parts that frequently fail. Conducts regular tests of the IDS, BMS, and motion sensors throughout the SCIF/facility. Creates, issues and manages access badges for the facility. Conducts required physical security inspections, publishes and recommends corrections for discrepancies, utilizes experience and knowledge to mitigate vulnerabilities. Qualifications: Active TS/SCI security clearance. Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university in sociology, criminology, police administration, criminal justice, or a related area. Experience maintaining SCIF accreditation via Fixed Facility Check (FFC) and TEMPEST addendum. Knowledge in the operation and testing of Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Balance Magnetic Switches (BMS), motions sensors, CCTV, and other security management devices. 2-4 years DISS (formerly JPAS) experience, in an AF DCGS unit or other Service DCGS unit. Open Storage Management. Skill in developing, analyzing, and evaluating security programs to meet mission requirements and improve the security program. Extensive knowledge of regulation, policies, and procedures to determine the appropriate course of action after analyzing security issues or incidences relative to Personnel, Physical, Industrial and/or Information Security. Desired: Intro to Industrial Security (IS011.16 / .06). Safeguarding Classified Info (IS109.16 / .06). Cyber Security Awareness (CI130.16). Derivative Classification. Scattered Castles experience. Defense Information System for Security (DISS). Classified Markings. Knowledge of the NISPOM/NISP. Defense Courier Service (DCS). LENEL ONGUARD Badging/Access Control System. Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
