Job description

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

The Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) conducts routine x-ray exams following Concentra's guidelines and under direct clinician supervision. The Rad Tech (RT) also assists in various needed areas of the facility as a Medical Support Specialist (MSS).

Rad Tech Responsibilities
Prepare and assist patients for radiology procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort.
Operate radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic images, adhering to safety protocols.
Utilize radiation safety measures and protection devices for patient and team member safety.
Maintain and report on the functionality of radiologic equipment.
Ensure adherence to Radiology workflows, accurate report cross-referencing, and proper documentation.
Understands and maintains all MRI, CT, X-Ray Technology equipment
Conduct DOT and Non-DOT drug and alcohol testing.
Perform rapid screening tests for various conditions.
Assist providers during examinations, treatments, and procedures.
Perform routine medical procedures and triage emergent patients.
Dispense medications, apply bandages, dressings, and splints.
Perform clerical tasks, ensure accurate documentation, and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.

Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED.
Completion of a program at an accredited school of radiologic technology, accompanied by state-required certification.
Active registration with The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with current certification.
Certification in CPR/First Aid.
