JOB TITLE: DEVSECOPS PLATFORM ENGINEER LOCATION: LANGLEY AFB, VA RATE RANGE: .00 PER HOUR JOB# Duration:0-6 month(s) REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Must have an active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance prior to start date. Requires minimum 5 years of platform engineering / support. Three (3) years of experience developing and operating containerized services deployed in production on orchestration platforms such as Cloud Foundry or Kubernetes Developer platform services and APIs that scale in production. Building and sustaining production services using Cloud Infrastructure Providers such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure; building and maintaining continuous delivery pipelines. Requires prior experience working in a collaborative environment requiring frequent teaming and written / verbal communication with all levels of internal and external stakeholders. Experience managing, reporting, and facilitating certification of access for all in-scope resources (including PaaS, AWS, Azure, CSS managed applications, tools, and systems). Must have an active DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification (or higher) on start date. IAT Level 2 requires one or more of the following Professional Certifications: Security+ CE, CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, CySA+, CND. JOB DESCRIPTION: Travel required to other US Domestic locations as business needs dictate up to 10% travel. Prior experience deploying Platform as a Service (PaaS) Automating platform management at enterprise scale. Experience developing platform APIs that make common software operations scalable and repeatable. Experience building continuous delivery and integration (CI/CD) pipelines. Experience responding to software outages and executing postmortem reviews including root cause analyses. Familiarity with DevSecOps concepts. Active DoD Secret clearance Strong analytic and research skills - must be detail oriented. Demonstrated ability to work independently and troubleshoot problems with efficiency. Requires the ability to effectively interact with external personnel on significant technical matters often requiring coordination between organizations and vendors.
