As a Senior Process Improvement specialist you will lead, guide, or support projects with a range of government customers in improving efficiency, maximizing performance, or streamlining various business processes. Our consultants bring expert knowledge from working either within the federal government or in support of it through previous consulting work. Our consultants typically support more than one project at a time, providing variety in the work and security against any issues related to a single contract. This position is contingent upon your ability to obtain/maintain your Secret Level clearance. This position is based on the National Capital Region, with potential travel required to support customers in various locations in the U.S. and overseas. In this role, you will: Provide Senior Process Improvement expertise as part of our team to analyze customer programs, processes, and operations and make recommendations for improvement. You will work closely with a other Serco team members and government customers to identify challenges and develop solutions. This may include: Lead initiatives to analyze and improve customer processes Analyzing processes and making recommendations for improvement Supporting organizational design and strategic workforce planning efforts Facilitating working groups and meetings, managing dissenting opinions and driving towards outcomes Developing requirements for technology to streamline operations Analyzing data from various sources to make improvement recommendations Facilitating or assisting with conducting customer workshops or focus groups Constructing, administering, and analyzing surveys Qualifications To be successful in this role you will have: Bachelor's Degree in relevant field and 1 5+ years' overall experience. 5+ years' experience working with Federal government customers Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level clearance. In depth knowledge of Process Improvement methodologies and tools. Specifically, you will have: Experience conducting Lean Six Sigma projects Experience leading Business Process Reengineering efforts Travel up to 25% may be required. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Experience leading and working in large groups Excellent oral and written communications skills Experience working in fast paced environments Additional desired experience and skills: Prior experience working with DOD customers Experience supporting corporate customers or initiatives If you are interested in helping improve Federal program performance, join our team today and make a difference!
