Job description

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below Specific duties are as follows: Oversee the overall development and implementation of a A2 Staff Community Action Plan Provide resilience and violence prevention training and track. Serve as the OPR for staff resilience programs and activities. Provide guidance to A2 senior leadership and staff members on resilience. Ensure program compliance with DoD and Air Force standards, policies, guidance, and communication for resilience as appropriate. Coordinate forums or other activities that support resilience and violence prevention as directed by the Air Force, MAJCOM CABs, AF/A1Z, and ACC A2 Leadership. Comply with data calls and other requests as directed by the Air Force CAB, AF/A1Z, and ACC A2 Leadership. Ensure ACC A2 compliance with DoD and Air Force standards, policies, guidance, and communication on violence prevention. Serve as the A2 OPR for violence prevention programs and activities and provide guidance to senior leadership on violence prevention. Engage installation agencies to assist in improving programs and activities that support resilience and violence prevention within the unit as appropriate. Promote consistent messaging on suicide awareness among ACC A2 personnel. Assist ACC A2 Leadership in promoting a culture of prosocial, healthy, and adaptive behaviors that encourages early help-seeking. Build programs to help A2 personnel understand how resilience and interpersonal and self-directed violence impact their well-being and performance, unit morale, and ultimately Air Force readiness. Complete any required resilience and violence prevention training as described in DAFI90-5001. Document, track, and report resilience and violence prevention training providing resilience and violence prevention training completion statistics upon request. Education, Requirements and Qualifications Active Top Secret security clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) required. Minimum of 3 to 10 years' experience and a BA/BS degree or MA/MS degree required Excellent written and verbal communication skills Working Conditions and Physical Requirements Job may require the employee to be: In a stationary position 50% of the time. Able to ascend/descend stairs as required. Able to move equipment not to exceed 25 lbs as needed.
