As the Capture Manager this position will be responsible for opportunity identification, development, and execution of the opportunity/win plan, and will work with the proposal team to incorporate winning solutions. The Capture Manager will work closely with the Business Development team and senior leadership, proposal teams, partners, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to lead capture activities and support technical proposal development. Travel to conferences, site visits, customer, and partner locations necessary for opportunity identification, partner engagement, customer knowledge, and other activities needed to build opportunity/win plans. This position reports directly to the Business Unit Director and is afforded a great deal of autonomy and authority. Job Description Lead opportunity and sales activities to expand existing markets, seek adjacencies, and develop with government customers and partner contractors. Manages the capture process to develop and execute the opportunity/capture/win plan. Research assigned opportunities, forms the core pursuit team, assess competitive position, and develops a strategy to win the opportunity. Support Program Managers to identify organic growth and surge opportunities. Work in concert with the management and business development team through the proposal lifecycle. Develops Win Plan/Capture Strategy, win themes, customer hot buttons, and discriminators. Facilitates proposal cost strategies. Facilitates the development of proposal strategy, themes, and discriminators and guides writers. Coordinates timeline of events with the Proposal Manager. Coordinates contract related documents (non-disclosure agreements, teaming agreements, subcontract agreements, etc.) with the Contracts Manager. Leads color team reviews. Negotiates/shapes the proposal with the customer. May assist with startup/transition support, bridging the proposal to actual implementation. Performs other related work as assigned . Minimum Requirements 5+ Years experience in capture management, proposal management, or similar related experience or operations experience. Experience marketing DoD and Civilian agency government contracts. Experience with military base operations and/or government contracting. Strong experience implementing industry standard Business Development/Capture processes. BS Degree Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain excellent relationships with current and potential customers. Must be a team player, detail oriented, self-motivated, and willing to travel. Possess exceptional customer interface and interpersonal skills including solid written and oral communication skills. Proficient with MS Office products, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and lead others in duties. Valid state Driver's License with acceptable driving record pertinent to the position. U.S. Citizenship. Desired Experience/Certifications Active DoD Secret Clearance Preferred. Active Affiliation with Professional Working Groups such as AFCEA, ACT-IAC, ATARC, AFFIRM.
