Responsibilities Peraton's National Programs Business Intelligence Systems & Applications Operating Unit has a need for an experienced Scrum Master to support its SITE III JIOC contract. This role is charged with the orchestration, sustainment, and evolution of a portfolio of applications that focus on Collection Management, Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR), and intelligence operations that directly support intelligence analysts, operations, and collection managers across the Combatant Commands. Our support team applies best practices in architecture design, data science, cloud services, DevSecOps, and platform integration to develop, sustain, and continually evolve the enterprise business systems environment, systems integration, and back-end business process workflows. The successful candidate will perform the following: Perform ScrumMaster duties and oversee the scrum development team Use knowledge of Agile methodology and scrum to educate others, providing coaching and training at the team level to empower the team to self-organize.
Act as a buffer between the scrum team and product owner and assist with conflict resolution.
Remote work is allowed. Generally, this position is on-site two times a week, but the candidate must be willing to come in as needed.Responsibilities Include:
Leading daily stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, demos, and other project-related meetings, coaching the team on Scrum principles and best practices.
Facilitating open discussion and conflict resolution; identify and resolve issues that might arise during scrum execution; update activities in a project management tracking tool.
Record and maintain product requirements and the backlog.
Foster a collaborative environment, encouraging team members to share ideas and address challenges.
Collaborate with other Scrum Masters and Agile Coaches to improve organizational Agile practices.Qualifications Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD Required Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in computer science or similar field of study, and 8+ years of relevant experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of the degree requirement.
Active TS/SCI OR TS with SCI eligibility with poly OR the ability to successfully pass a poly required.
Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Scrum Master on a Scrum team.
Minimum of 1 year of experience teaching others how to become Agile.
Certification: Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) or SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) or equivalent.
Knowledge of and experience with JIRA/Confluence/GitLab/Artifactory.
Knowledge of Agile methodology and scrum.
Familiarity with SAFe methodology.
Desired Qualifications: Experience working within a DevSecOps culture.
Experience working with and managing expectations of multiple Product Owners.
Familiar with AWS.
Familiarity with DIA mission applications.
Experience with Agile tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Asana, Redmine).
Experience with intelligence collection management applications.
Experience with scrum project management, agile software development, and software version control management.
Strong communication skills.
Adept at organizing and motivating teams.
Adept at solving problems.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Experience with multiple Agile teams in different organizations

Target Salary Range $112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
