Job Title: Program Manager

Location: 100% Remote (Headquarters: Herndon, VA)

Clearance Required: IRS Moderate Risk Background Investigation (MBI) preferred

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Program Manager to lead and manage our IRS project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in government contracts and compliance, with specific experience working with the IRS.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the IRS project, ensuring all deliverables are met on time and within budget.

Ensure project adherence to IRS requirements, federal regulations, and contractual obligations.

Act as the primary point of contact for the IRS and other stakeholders, managing communications and expectations effectively.

Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, including technical, administrative, and legal staff, to ensure project success.

Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to ensure project continuity and compliance.

Track project performance using appropriate tools and techniques, providing regular status reports to senior management and stakeholders.

Maintain comprehensive project documentation and prepare detailed reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Oversee project budget, ensuring financial resources are used efficiently and effectively.

Implement best practices and continuous improvement processes to enhance project delivery and outcomes.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field. A Master's degree or PMP certification is a plus.

Minimum of 7 years of program/project management experience, preferably in a government contracting environment.

Demonstrated experience managing IRS or other federal government projects.

IRS Moderate Risk Background Investigation (MBI) clearance preferred or the ability to obtain it.

Strong knowledge of IRS and federal compliance requirements.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.

Proficiency in project management software and tools.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Financial acumen with experience managing project budgets.
